Transfer Prescription Coupon

You may be asking yourself what exactly is a transfer prescription coupon and is there “a catch” or do you really get free money. Here is the answer plain and simple. Once you transfer a prescription to a new pharmacy, you can often clip a coupon that allows you to get a $5, $10 or more often then not a $25 gift card. It is an exciting deal and many frugal shoppers are eager to cash in. Read the find print because in some cases there is a loophole. You may be able to clip a bunch of these coupons and transfer each of your medications separately, perhaps even on different days. What does this mean to you? If you have three prescribed drugs, you could be looking at a whopping $75. But why are pharmacies doing this? Let’s be honest, time are tough for many people and this includes businesses. They need to figure out what they can do to get more customers, more business and more sales. If they can get you to join their family you are likely to buy everything else there you need. The whole concept is genius for both store and shopper.

Transfer Prescription Coupons

Let’s get to the big question you may be asking. Just where do you find these offers? The answer could not be simpler. Chose the new pharmacy and head straight to their online pharmacy section or home page. Usually these coupons will jump right out at you. You may also view their online weekly sales paper or perhaps you get one delivered to your home. If not, most stores will carry a stack of these when you walk through the door. You can talk to your pharmacist and see if he or she knows when the next discount will be out. Some pharmacies put transfer prescription coupons out regularly and some less frequently.

What store’s offer the best pharmacy discounts?

We have found that many of the larger pharmacy chains are in competition to win you over. This means the offers are more long running and show up more frequently.

Check out Safeway and all of it’s pharmacies that fall under the name. This includes Dominicks, Carrs, Randalls, Tom Thumb, Vons and Genuardi’s. Transfer your medicine to them and get a $25 reward coupon. This is good for practically anything throughout the store. The deal is valid until the very last day of the year. You may use it on your very next purchase of $50 or more. This is easy to do in a grocery store!

You may have a Walgreens near you. They are constantly putting out the offer. Switch to them and get a $25 gift card.

If none of these pharmacies mentioned are near your home, do not worry. Decide on which pharmacy is close to you, accepts and honors your drug coverage, and meets all the needs of your family. These days you can find other incentives such as a Generics Program. This means the next time you get sick you may be able to go with a generic version of your drug and pay as little $3.99 for a 30 day supply. Think about it- this could mean paying even less then your co-pay!

Some pharmacies understand that providing customers with convenience is key. They may have a small clinic in the pharmacy there which is able to treat patients with common colds or minor injuries. Avoid a visit to the doctor and even get your immunizations here. More often then not, walk ins are welcome, so you can visit at a time that is best for you. Not only will services like this save you money, but time as well. We all know time is money.

You may consider finding a pharmacy that is inside a large supermarket. Get all of your groceries, photos, and pharmaceuticals at one place. Some pharmacies these days are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and some will deliver your meds to you. This may not seem that important now, but if you ever become ill or bedridden, the service is priceless.

  1. Lina – One of the Huggies coupons suhold be a Target coupon so you can stack it with a manufacturer’s coupon. I haven’t printed mine yet, but I also received a booklet from Target in the mail that has some additional diaper coupons! Liza – those coupons are the same as our Group B printables that are linked on the left. Don’t you just love the extra boost you get from printables?
